If the fit isn’t right for you, you may return or exchange your item within 14 days. We design Journey to adapt across proportions, but if it doesn’t feel right on you, you’re not locked into it.
How do sizing and fit work?
How does adaptive sizing work?
Journey dresses are made using heat-set micro-pleated fabric with built-in memory. The pleats expand where you need room and return to shape afterward, allowing the garment to adapt across a wide range of proportions. We offer two adaptive size ranges — Regular (US 0–18) and Plus (US 18–24) — designed to cover real variation without rigid tailoring.
Is this traditional “one-size” sizing?
No. Traditional one-size garments rely on elastic or oversized cuts. Journey’s structure is built into the fabric itself, so the dress responds to your body rather than simply stretching over it.
Will the garment lose its shape if it stretches?
No. The pleats are permanently heat-set into the fiber, giving the garment structure and memory. As the fabric expands, it maintains clean vertical lines and returns to its original shape after movement or washing.
Does the garment feel secure during wear?
Yes. The stretch is intentionally graduated — flexible through the body where comfort is needed, and supportive at the neckline and armhole so the dress stays anchored. You should not need to adjust it throughout the day.
How do I care for my Journey piece?
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold. Hang or lay flat to dry. The pleats retain their structure without special handling.
What is the fabric made of?
Journey uses a lightweight, heat-set micro-pleated fabric designed for durability, movement, and longevity. The pleats are permanently molded into the fiber structure.
Will it wrinkle during travel?
No. The special construction resists wrinkles, packs flat, and recovers instantly after unpacking.
